Inter-House Hindi Speech Competition - Class 7A


An Inter-House Hindi Speech Competition on the topic ‘Significance of Diwali’ was conducted among the students of class 7th A . The competition aimed at enhancing the speaking skills of the students as well as to evoke the true meaning of the festive spirit. Students develop skills in research, critical thinking, organization and communication. Speech offers students the opportunity to not only improve speaking ability, but also develop many of the qualities and skills that build successful speakers, such as the ability to “read a room” as well as use vocal inflections and intonations to emphasize important points and concepts. 
The best speaker from every house was awarded.

Students then talked about the improvements they feel have come in them in all these years and talked about the activities conducted. Also, the names of some of the alumni who have done distinctively well in their field, were discussed.
